Hello there Partner! Have you ever wondered what would happen if your food ever had a face off. Who would win if your salad dressing had a sugar showdown with your mustard? Well I do. I always wonder who would win.
Today’s competitor — Heinz Ketchup.

You all know Heinz Ketchup.. Quite the beloved in the United States. Generally found in the midst of crispy fries or spread thinly on top of a hamburger patty. Some call it tomato sauce. I prefer “ketchup”. Yes – Heinz Ketchup is a household name in America. So let’s put it up to the sugar challenge.

I was pretty surprised as well! I had to redo my calculations a couple of times to make sure my math was right.

I knew ketchup had added sugar in it, but this is disturbing! It just goes to show how carefully we need to know what is in our food.
I agree. Did you know the original recipe for tomato ketchup didn’t have *any* sugar? We’ve become quite the sugar society in the last 50 years.
